Turbo Fuel Pump

Hi people, got a few running issues with the 2.0 8v turbo, just wondering what fuel pump people are using on there conversions

I'm using a standard pump from a phase 1.5 1900, seems to be man enough at the moment :)

My mine was a 1.6 reckon that's the same? Or do you think that may not be up to the job

i got told any xu petrol fuel pump should be enough to run these engines.

405 T16 uses the same pump as a 405 1.8i, so... :)

Boost problem, no boost in 1st, other gears don't so nothing till 5000 at as guess as no rev counter, all pipes are tight no leaks, all connected up correctly from what I can see, thought it was the electronic boost control valve so by passed that and still the same

does the turbo spool ok? take the airfilter pipe off and stick your hand in and turn it, it should spin freely.

did you test the acctuator? you have 2 ebc's now? fancy selling me one?

 

edit: is the engine running ok? any backfiring/bogging down etc?

do you mean the control valve, i have a felling this is faulty, the actuator is a pig to get to, and no confident i no what it should/shouldn/t be doing but getting that checked at the weekend

 

i have posted a new post with the setup i'm using
