Quick question, i did search the forum for this but couldnt find anything.

 

My 1.9 16v Mi16 engine, 160BHP version

 

What is the engine code, and where can it be found on the block??

 

my crank is in for a regrund and they want to know the engine code to order the correct shells for it.

 

this is the engine code they gave me XU 9J4 off there data base. i presume it is correct?

yup that is correct. the code you will see on the engine is d6c.

 

nearly all xu mains are identical btw
