Turbo Pulling To The Left.

Recommended Posts

luke1987

Hi ive done a search and cant seem to get to the bottom of this i have a gti that started out life as a 1.6 but is now a 2.0 Turbo and its really pulling hard to the left (its not torque steer as its gradually got worse) ive replaced pretty much everything on the suspesion and steering system eg:wishbones with new pug bushes, droplinks both sides, new suspension Avo coilovers set right, both wheel bearings, and new bronze steering rack bush. But its still pulling its fine in neutral when rolling but under acceleration it really pulls to the left to the point of fighting to keep hold of the wheel someone mentioned it could be the driveshaft thats nackered it was fine before the conversion its just got worse over time any help appreciated.

Cheers Luke.

And just to add its running 309 wishbones and shafts.

It does not matter where in my case. I replaced droplinks, wishbones, strut bar bushes, outer&inner trackrod (ends),steering rack bushes;and nothing better.?
