My Door Wind Deflectors

Thought i'd share some pics of my recent ebay winnings as I've never seen them on a 205. Quite like the looks of them and the stop the water running in the car on to the window switch and your knee which used to really annoy me lol

They'r second hand I won them at £15. Thats sort of why I got them as it's not nice getting dribbled on when having a morning smoke on the way to work

Have you got any pics that are bigger than a postage stamp? My eyes can't take the strain at my age.

A lot of japanese imports have these on and I'm not quite sure why as I wouldn't class them as necessarily a nation of heavy smokers and air con and climate control will moderate the internal temperature. Maybe they just fart a lot?!

The only reason you need them on a UK car is if you must smoke as you drive.

I have seen them colour coded in the past on some cars. Not sure I agree with that for aesthetics or safety reasons!

Im not a smoker and i still like them, they stop a lot of the wind blowing in which can be annoying. As well as the rain when i want to cool down a bit, but mine are on a gti6. But i have a hearing aid too which causes problems with the wind noise.

Slightly off topic, but good to know they help with this as my mother is very hard of hearing in her elder years and struggles a lot with hearing in the car!! I'll suggest these to my Dad to get for his golf...
