Powdercoating Advice Wanted

if you have something powdercoated and the powder coating gets damaged is it fixable?

what i mean is can a chip be touched in or does the whole item have to be redone?

If you repair it straight away it will last but eventually it will flake and come off. Redoing the powder coating is not expensive unless it's a custom finish or colour.

I should think it would be fine as long as the area has a good key around it.

 

I dont use powder coating myself, there's nothing like a good amount of layers of top quality paint type for the right places/pieces etc.
