I did my shaft oil seal today and thought might aswell do the drop links while im on as there a piece of piss, Its been 3 years since i did a set but i remembered there been a bit on tension being required to make them fit on my old gti and these just slotted on easy?

 

Is that the norm for standard ride height or is my front arb as limp as a pensioners todger?

i had one side off the floor at a time today and i believe thats how i did it in the past

Sometimes if the arb bushes are a little tired you'll find you don't really need much force to move the bar 5-10mm anyway.

Force was a factor it just moved with ease, does that mean i need new bushes?

It does have a few knocks on the front end but i need new bottom arms yet so ill fit them and see, what do people do for arb bushes, standard or polly?
