Changing Torsion Bars

Ive just bought a new beam and was wondering weather its easier to change the torsion bars on the car or while the beam is off. The new one has 25mm bars, but iam going to put the standard ones back on.So i will be swapping the beams over but not sure weather to change the bars before i put it on, or wen ive got it on any ides will be great.

Easier to change off the car, although providing that everything is freed off then it's not difficult to do on the car.
