1989 White 1.6 Gti Paint Shade

Recommended Posts

locosaki

Just been repainting bottom of my doors and the paint match isn't correct. I got the paint matched to the bonnet so I wouldn't have this issue !!

The white I have appears to be more yellow/creamier than the white on my doors roof etc.

I'm sure it's Blanche meije I got from the paint shop.

Anyone have a rough idea what this white on my car is likely to be. Checked for paint codes etc but I think they are long gone.

Excellent thanks for that.

Starting to lose interest in this now, Nothing seems to be simple with this French Sh£te.

I'll give it another go. How many white does one manufactorer really need !!

blanc mejie is alpine white only thing is there will be loads of varients of that colour like standard shade, yellow shade, redder shade, bluer shade, etc, etc and plus whoever mixs the paint mixs it right, the paint is mixed by weight and there is maby 6 tinters in that colour so if he goes over slightly on a yellow it will come out wrong, you say he matched it to the bonnet so look at the paint that he mixed you looks something like the bonnet if its amile off he maby mixed it wrong
