Goodyear Fuel Hose

Need to buy some fuel hose for my 205 > GTi6 conversion.

 

I nearly bought some the other day sold as fuel hose, but it wasn't suitable for unleaded. So now I want to make sure I get the right stuff.

 

Halfords sell fuel hose, is convenient and is only £3 a metre. 8mm x 3.5mm?

Goodyear branded, should be up to the job shouldnt it?

 

I have one of Miles' banjo adapters which takes 8mm hose. Is both the return and GTi6 fuel rail 8mm?

 

For some reason I thought it was 8 and 10mm, but not sure where I heard that.

they are 8+10mm

That's what I thought. It will be made to some sort of required Standard, so should be fine aslong as I use decent clips and the right sizes.

 

8 and 10mm, so I did hear correctly at some point then. Is it a 10mm return? As the feed is 8mm from Miles' Banjo.

Just make sure that is marked as fuel injection rated, im pretty sure that stuff isnt. get the injection rated stuff - any good local motor factors stock it.

The Banjo is the largest size you can get in that type of fitting but when you see people using the 6mm one and 10mm fuel pipe its iffy, But 10mm pipe seals fine as I;ve never known a issue

That's fair enough Miles.

 

So does the return pipe need to be 8mm or is 10mm pipe needed for both?
