Ignition Barrel Fitting

I bought a new lock set a while back and finally decided to get it fitted while I was waiting for some paint to dry

 

Now, I only had the ignition barrel itself, not the wiring harness which I would of liked, but it's only a bit of metal and some screws and I had my original to go by so I opened it up and fitted my wiring into it.

 

It clicked in to place, and I put the key in and it locked down into the 3 pin recesses. I presume it only goes home one way?, as I have no engine or wiring to connect up to a battery to try it at this stage.
