Anyone Had Use Of Bilstein Shocks?

Hello all,

 

Ive recently purchased a set of Bilstein shocks for my 205 GTI. They are not adjustable just slightly uprated compared to standard items & to go with it ive bought some standard height springs 'Gravel spec' items.

 

Just wondering if anyone has had any use of these type of struts??

Erm, yes. They're probably the most popular suspension upgrade on here, Bilstein are pretty much second to none.

Surely its going to sit quite high and be bouncy with those springs?

There are varying types though, I had the Streetline kit which was very good - but this is entry level, just a bit better than standard - they are the black ones.

 

The next one up is the Sprintline kit which are yellow, i think these are also know as B8's.

The old streetline were B4 dampers. Gas filled but OE spec basically..

Sportline are the b8 dampers which are about 30% uprated over standard
