Turbo Fuel Cut

i was just wondering if anyone else has ever seen or heard of this i have put on a turbosmart single stage boost controller instead of the standard solenoid which i have left plugged in and was setting it up with the dial in the car with the controller off it runs at 6 psi and have set the controller so it runs at a bar switched on everythings been fine for months but the other day i switched it on and it went up to around 2 bar (someone been messing with the dial) and i didnt feel a fuel cut or anything just very scarily quick turned it off instantly before any damage could be done has anyone else had the same thing happen and is there a chance of it running lean like this? cheers.
