First Run In 2.0 8V Turbo

Took her for her first spin, seems like it had severe turbo lag, boost gauge goes slowly up to .5 bar, then from there it flys up to 1 bar. As I say just feels do dead up until then. Anyone with any ideas? Possible boost leak, fairly sensor? Anything that can cause it, any ideas would be gratefull cheers

1 Bar? Did you put a boost controller of some sort on? Get it running right as standard first then try to up the boost. I'm sure someone suggested that in another of your threads

Just try running it standard to see if everything works as it should. If it does then you know whats causing the problem.

I've put a dump valve and boost gauge on, and also the pipes, goes with out saying, other than that everything else is standard, haven't played with the boost at all, unless the person I bought the dnoar car off had previously played with it

Not on my phone, I'll take some tomorrow, I bought a loom off of someone on hear, can't remember who tho, there are 2 (from memory) that aren't connected, 1 I remember was taped off, so in theory only 1 not connected, seems to sit near the gear box, reverse switch is connected...

From memory, the 2 next to get box where White and black, think White was gear box

Nice one, I'll get some pics up tomorrow, other than that, a small oil leak, and the tracking being miles out it didn't seem to bad, so main job tomorrow is oil leak, as don't wanna run it like that

Looking at pics on the net, may have the boost pressure sensor the wrong way round, will try tonight and update
