Any ideas of prices etc as I'm loathe to shop on Ebay........

theres an item on ebay (i know you said you didnt want to) from paragon peugeot, who do trim fitting kits

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-205-GTI-Wheel-Arch-Trim-Fixing-Kit-NEW-/390081681183?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5ad2ae171f#ht_2606wt_907

thats £39.95 + delivery

If you dont want to buy online, you can pay over the phone just state what kit you need and they will arrange it for you and just pay over the phone like normal.

hope this helps in some form

John

Well, im a little confused now...

Servicebox says:

fixing.jpg

Now in 90% sure mine uses a plastic 'stud' and a plastic collar that pushes into the wing, which doesnt look like the above...

Either way, for each 'hole' you'd need 1 off 8565-14, 1 off 8656-15 and 1 off 69xx-98

The first two come in packs of ten, the last singly.

Prices:

thats not pack quantity, thats the number you need of each part, pack quantity is a random number!

Where do you get the user name and password for service box? is it in the public domain?

 It was only today I noticed the middle column and though 'oh that must be the quantity'.

So how can you tell how many of something you get in a pack? Would hate to order 10 items , and then find out packs were in 5's and I would be left with 40 of something I didn't need

Hmmm... So ten of those things per front end? As usual, ordering parts has become complicated :P

It is, just search for servicebox in Google, click the register button, find a UK vat number from somewhere ( :D) and away you go!

I might have enough for both sides, I don't use what Pug did thou on the arch's, Well sort of it's the jagged edge type with the cup that fit's in the body, I think it's better than the stupid clip on the back idea

Drop me a email please (Not PM) and I'll price some up

Miles i think you referring to Christmas Tree style fasteners???

asb0908pan6.jpg

I found they didn't hold that well when i tried them on my car and lost 2 arch trim pieces into the New Zealand road side...

I'm currently using the factory pug plastic stud with a nylon nut which have held very well..

We where also looking at the Stalok Fasteners but never got around to getting some to look at.

I remember someone posted that they had used plastic number plate bolts to secure their arches, never tried it myself though.

afaik later cars used fir tree clips with a second shoulder, its what i was supplied by a dealer bodyshop anyway! they fit quite tight, the clip pictured above is like the one used on later pug arch liners.

It's like that, but the clip was always found above the rear bumper as you could never get behind it.

I get box's of 100 from Wurth
