Fork Bush Query

Recommended Posts

chipstick

I want some new fork bushes. The bottom on has a bit cracked off of it, and while it's out the car, I want to do it now rather than kick myself if they failed in the future.

Have done my research on service box with part numbers before I trapse to Peugeot after work and wait for them to find find them otherwise.

I just want to check I am ordering the right things in.

2175 14 - Fork Bearing SUP Upper (is this a metal thing that goes between the arm and the fork? Looks like that in the picture)

2175 15 - Fork Bearing (which is under the picture and obvious the bottom one)

Now I also spot:

2175 22 - Fork Bearing SUP Lower

All I want is the 2 plastic yellow bushes

Whilst on the subject I decided to write down a new pin. As I don't like resuing stuck ones that I have had to beaten out. Now, under the 205 option of BE3 boxes, it shows 2172 06, which has a threaded end. I am wondering if I am better off using the smooth one with a spring as on the GTi6 box. Opinions on which is best welcome.

Thanks :)

Ended up confusing me more than anything

I did learn that the forks can be slightly different. I had yellow, so presumably need yellow again.

It's just which part numbers I listed that I actually need. I think 1 of them must be for a different bush that I don't need.
