Isofix

Has anyone tried this?

 

 

I have an isofix base for for our day to day Golf, but when in 'seat belted mode' I didn't really like it, which then lead me to thinking if there was the possibility of putting mounts into the 205.

Is the floor pan beneath the backseats fairly generic to later models that might have had an isofix option?

 

Just wondering as I'll be dropping the fuel tank off soon, so access to fit plates would be good.

You dont need to drop the tank to sort them as the seat belt bolts poke through just above it.

 

They arent attached to the floor pan in the 306, not noticed them on any other models though.

Ive got an old isofix bar that you can bolt to the floor. Is from a Renault Clio, but only bolts in either end.
