Now that is the dog's bollocks B)

Long exposure and then run around the car shining a torch all over it I presume. Do you know what exposure time was used? Again, presuming it was metered for the building in the background, so anyone wanting to copy the method will need to bare that in mind.

P.S. If you've got any of those in really high res, I'd love some copies to use as desktop wallpaper ;)

I know so little about photography but if exposure time is what i think it is then it was 15seconds,i remember him saying he only had 15 seconds to get around the car. That was pretty much it really, run around the car with a torch highlighting certain bits of the car,as for camera settings its wasted on me. How do i find out what the resolution is?

Thanks for all the nice replies,i love the way the picture is done, the colour looks awesome and it makes the car look like its a computer generated image and it highlights the shine and all the silver bits

Those are pretty cool. I've saw those before, i think its to do with shutter speeds and as you say, someone running round with a torch.

It's really good fun, you just need a tripod (or something to put the camera on like a wall) and a camera that has aperture / shutter priority. Then you just set the camera with a long (15+ seconds) exposure and go running round like a lunatic with the torch. :D
