Problems With Magnex 4 Branch

Just getting this mani ready to go on today and had a few little niggles so far with springs, they are the bosal part number people suggested and are too short. Ive tweeked the lugs in as much as possbile on the mani and they still dont come close under max extension (there about 10mm away on max). I dont want to tweek the lugs like mad theyll break off with the life on constant hot and cold theyve had so i need siggestions really.

 

All i can think of is to cut a coil out the spring as maybe bosal have started making them shorter for the original application.

well ive got it on after tweeking the lugs a little more but its still really tight imho and took alot on compression to get on, thought it would have been a better fit than that.

That is asking for trouble, the springs are coil bound on one side at least, meaning there is no give in them. I would cut a couple of coils out personally.

yeah i might do yet, ive had a hideous time working on it anyway as some little fcuking scumbag stole my spanners and alot of tools not so long back (because they were in a bosch box so the little rat thought they were a drill) and hey presto i havent got any spanners to deal with rounded nuts etc grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
