Rear Brake Calipers

hey,just a quick question,are the rear brake calipers the same on a 205 gti as they are on a 306 gti6??

not quite, pistons are larger on the 306, but otherwise fine to use, same pads etc.

 

ZX, Xsara, Saxo, 205 309 106 306, Renault 5, 11, 19, Clio.... most will be a 30mm piston, the later/larger cars used 32mm pistons.

no im wanting to re-build my 306 rear calipers,but i can only find re-build kits for a 205,must be another sign telling me to buy another 205 lol

Have you tried Bigg Red? They have kits for pretty much everything.

Thats who i got mine through, they even sent to NZ for me.
