As above really. Is there a tool for removing gear linkage? Or do i have to be more manly :) I cant seem to pop mine off!

13mm spanner under the ball and lever off carefully, I think there is a tool but I never found the need to buy one.

This is the wrong forum BTW :)

 

Yes i use the track rod end removal fork tool, but WP's way will also work well enough to prise it off the ball joint.
