Non Cat No Power Steering 1.6

Looking into a 1.6 gti pretty much standard its a non cat and no power steering model has a sunroof and has covered 121k in miami blue.

 

 

Couple of questions whats it worth?

 

Can I get classic insurance for it?

 

Any good as a daily driver?

what sort of condition it is in?

if its the one i have seen on eBay then it looks pretty tidy and has quite a bit of history with it so i personally would pay anything up to £950

i think you can get classic insurance on the 205 but you have to be 25 or over

should be good as a daily driver as long as its looked after:D

None of the 1.6 GTI's ever had a cat fitted & afaik PAS was always an option so it's as from the factory.

 

You should be able to get classic insurance but some companies don't like it being used as a main car under a classic policy.

 

Value is hard to say from such a brief description, without seeing either very good quality pictures or the car first hand it's impossible to give even a ballpark figure imo.

 

Should be fine as a daily driver, mine was for seven years.
