damo 17 2 Cars Posted August 24, 2011 Im having trouble finding the answer to this. I know the 1.6 GTI hubs wont but what about the CTI? Its wish bones are more like a standard 205 and not GTI's. SO will gti 6 breaks go on like they do with 1.9 hubs? Or any other recommendation welcome Damo.
stuart1298 6 Posted August 24, 2011 I have a 1.6 and put hubs from a 1.4 on it as the 1.6 hubs won't accept the gti6 callipers and the 1.9 hubs would mean new drive shafts, What Model have you actually got?
petert 578 Posted August 24, 2011 I thought CTi were the same as 1.6 GTi. In which case, you need base model hubs if you want to run late model calipers.
thug pug 7 1 Cars Posted August 24, 2011 A 91 CTI has the same hubs as a 1.6 GTI. Rab E.
