Discklok Opinions

Any good? Is there anything else that also rates highly? and pure laziness on my part but whats the 205 steering wheel size?

they are grate and thacham aproved , a friend of my father from the american car club lost the keys to his one and after 4 days of drilling had to make an appiontment with the local firedepartment to cut it off with there hydrolic cutters , as for size of the 205 wheel im not sure :wacko:

I have a pair of them. One for the 205 and one for the rallye. Both are small size and they are bob on :) What made me buy them is they are thacham approved, but more the fact I watched a program that had ex cons trying different ones out. Most were off in seconds in not mins but the disclock was more the hour mark.

 

They are bulky buggers but if thats the only price you have to pay...

just spoken to my dad and on his very very high value 57 chevy the insurance company were more intrested with him buying a discklok than any type of alarm or immobiliser , in fact they specify it as one of there conditions of insurance

i highly recommend it too, i had a saph cossie that i parked at my dads place. i only used it mainly for weekends so it was left for 4/5 day periods. one night while he was away on hol i popped over to check it and was gutted to find it had been broken into. the wan*ers had tried all sorts to get the disklock off but cudnt.

They are a decent bit of kit, when I lived in a not so great area I used mine religiously. These days not so often really although I suppose I ought to use it more.

heres a few about 95 % complete have over 1000 pictures of the build but keeps saying the items are too large to upload got first in show on its debute and best paint in last show :D

Absolutely, the one iv had for my 205 gti i managed to wedge it under the passenger seat, so it wont move or make noises with the usual 205 gti driving. I cant fault them for both 205/306 :)
