Mi16 Full Gasket Set

Just had a quote of 212 quid for a full gasket set including headbolts

 

is that right or can it be found cheaper else where?

If you could get them from Peugeot any more they'd be about £200 + vat from peugeot plus bolts and head gasket afaik, but you can't so not a bad price really!

 

 

Doing a full rebuild?

yeah, managed to get a fully rebuilt Mi16 that had a cracked block because when they rebuilt it they forgot to put a head spacer on the head bolt. so 10miles later while at the garage the block cracked.

 

150 quid

Came with a spare cyclinder head

2 sets of High lift cams one for low down power the other for high end power

Super light flywheel

bog borthers inlet manifold

4-2-1 for 205 converstion

and the spacer plate to run the 205 dizzy.

 

also got 405 mi16 exhaust manifold

If it's been fully rebuilt ~10 miles ago you should be able to just take the complete head off the current block and put it on the new one with a new HG and bolts, rather than needing a whole replacement headset - unless of course you're dubious about the rebuild and want to redo/replace everything.

well i was hoping to do all the crack seals etc..

 

Unsure of the condition of the other headgasket as i havent even stripped the engine down yet.

 

i was gunna reuse all the internals, just give them a check over first
