Gti Rack Same As Normal Model?

As title, does any one no it the racks are the same as a gti and a normal 205?

might be a lower ratio but will fit just fine with the appropriate lower column

I have a diesel pas rack fitted to my GTi. Same size and fitting. Just needeed to change the lower section of column to the splined one.
