I need classic insurance for a 205 gti that only going to do 1500 miles/yr with 1 driver aged 39...any suggestions guys?

I did a quick quote with footman james last week and it was £197 I think. aged 28, limited to 3000 miles and garaged. not sure if thats good or bad but I was quick happy with it.

Just insured this week.

 

Just over £400 for 5k miles or £480 for unlimited mileage. Big increase on last year, no change in my details.

I have Need2Insure as well, they are very good at convincing the underwriters to give high agreed values and have no problems with modifications and all.
