Brake Pad Sensor

Hi Everyone

 

I am currently in the stages of stripping down un- needed wiring from various looms. I am looking at getting rid of the cables that goto the brake pads, as im not blind enough not to notice when my pads need changing.

 

I just wanted to check they work by making a connection between the pad and earth on suspension top when the pad is low. I.E. im not going to get a working light if i dont link them together?
