ok as some other threads i have got my 205 through the mot and got insurance.

 

the cars a 1.6 model, but with the 2.0 litre 16v from a 1995 406.

 

i got my sorn/tax in 118 for 6 months but the details are with the 1.6 engine?

do i have to notify this or just tax it as it says? pretty sure i just taxed it before when i had the s16 in it. this what most do right ?

theres no difference in tax, just need to send the v5c to update the cc and engine number (if you can find it...)

Cost is the same for anything pre-2001 over 1549cc so no problem taxing it as is - you should really update the V5C to show the new engine number and capacity though.

yeah this is the bit i read just earlier, but wasnt to sure.
