Part Number Wanted For Clutch Fork Bearings

Recommended Posts

pugpete1108

i went to my local pug yesterday for some release fork bearing top and bottom for my vts box.

he came out with two different sized ones parts 4 and 5 on this diagram.

now part 5 will in no way fit as my fork is the same dia all the way down?? and part 4 fits the shaft but does not fit the hole in the bellhousing as its too small ??

part 15 looks right for the bottom but what on earth do i use for the top???

its a be3 vts box im using

Didn't look very hard then - those two part numbers are used on about half the Peugeot range on BE3 gearboxes when you search for them!

You are under Peugeot 205 1991 onwards aren't you? It's not listed in the Phase 1 / 1.5 section for some reason, even though the BE3 box was available in 1990.

that would be why then, i was under ph1/1.5

didnt register that the be3 was a later box and yes it is listed under ph1 too

so i take it the search only works in the section you are in not the whole site?

so i take it the search only works in the section you are in not the whole site?

It initially searches for the vehicle you've selected, and then there's a button to make it search under all models.

Are you using the 205 arm? if so don;t forget there's 2 types, early and late but only way to check is to measure the fork length
