Copy Indicators And Front Light

Recommended Posts

205_sunderland

Im wanting to spruce up the front end of the gti and have seen you can get brand new copy indicators and lights for pretty reasonable prices, whats peoples experiences of them and whats the quality like as i think with an engine bay steam clean and some new lights it could spruce it up a treat

I managed to smash my front lights up the other day- luckily i found a place that has two genuine peugeot lights to replace them- the bloke took one look at mine a said " yep there broken because they are lucas after market lamps-garbage". the main difference was that the back of the lights are all plastic and had completely broken all the mounting lugs in a 10mph shunt.

If you are after genuine lamps / indicators I know this same chap has a few available- see my post from the other day -205GTI graveyard.

Hope that helps

Miles

Avoid the Depo thing's, complete rubbish.

All the late phase 2 lights are plastic as std, Better units over the metal ones as the light given out is better, depends on who std you want the car

I have just brought new indicators and side repeaters from a main dealer. They are not expensive why get copies? I also brought new Valeo headlights from GSF for less than £25 each. All fits and looks perfect.
