2" will be fine for an 8V, and should be good for 150-180bhp without being restrictive.

2.25" is perfect for a 2.0 16V NA engine.. I only made mine out of 2.5" as it was readily available in thin gauge at work.

Im leaning more and more to the group A system with 2.36" bore this rate :D , seems the perfect size difference between the two and i only want like i said to "TRY" and hit around 150 bhp at some point for now car will be standard, i might knife edge and port the tb and its getting an aftermarket filter in standard airbox, so all long as it flows well, im hoping that should be fine to run of pretty much standard motor for now and unlock that awsome sound of the systems too instead of my magnext backbox bellow at the minute (dont get me wrong everyone says the cars sounds lovely but i want a more true pug pop pop bang exhaust).

I agree. I get a custom race system made for the 106 TU engines and it copes absolutely fine with a 50mm bore on 180 bhp engines. Around 190bhp is the crossover point for a bigger bore. I cannot see why the 205 would need a bigger bore for the power it puts out. Its not like it revs high.
