SurGie 54 Posted August 7, 2011 Hi, While iv been renewing/sorting out the 205's engine bay looms, iv got a bit of a problem with the jet wash wires. I have found two blue ones coming from the tester red plug loom section. I have also found a labeled green/yellow stripe one labeled as the jet wash earth. I have a spare plug and wires from a G reg 205 and they are green/yellow stripe and the other one is a single yellowish colour. Yet i have two blue ones and the green/yellow one off the battery loom ?? So thats 3 wires for the jet wash Can anyone tell me what the ph2 205's jet wash wires colours are so i can prep them correctly ? pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted August 9, 2011 Jet wash wires? I take it from the picture you mean screen wash for the washer motor? If your wiring is still original then it will have a black two pin plug shaped to fit the motor in one way only, on my phase 2 they are red & the green / yellow earth. SurGie 54 Posted August 11, 2011 No, thats what i thought, there was no plug and these are the only two wires left out of all the looms iv organised and sorted, they were all labeled. All apart from the green with striped yellow round it which has been labeled as the earth for the screen wash jets. The earth is on the battery loom so does the live supposed to come from the battery loom as well ? I could just test them once iv fitted the battery, but with them being blue and the only wires left then one must be the live. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Iv pulled back the loom cowling more and eventually found the original green/white wires for the windscreen jet wash, someone had soldered the new blue wires in for some reason. Well thats the jet wash sorted, the only problem i have now is i still have a thicker green jet wash earth wire coming from the fan loom part of the battery loom. Its been labeled as the jet wash earth but its not as thick as the OE green one The loom splits into three sections, the fan 1, the metal tube thingy mi jig 2, then this green earth thats the same thickness as the green earth of the fan loom. The battery loom has all been sorted out, so this odd green wire is still a mystery tbh. Wait a minute, unless its that single inner wing bolted earth wire i remember seeing ages ago ?
