Peugeot 306 Cat

Can't seem to get an answer regarding this on the pug306 forum.

 

I've finally finished putting my 306 back together for an MOT, yet on firing up it sounded like a tank. Appears to be coming from the CAT to downpipe join, the flexi joint. The CAT appears fairly new along with the rest of the exhaust, but it's made by EuroFlo. It has a new fitting kit and a new donut. The flanges appear to be totally mismatched, the CAT flange much bigger than the downpipe and they don't sit flush to each other. The lower engine mount is a bit buggered, but I've loosened that off and wedged the engine forward a touch yet no improvement.

 

I'm guessing the flange/pipe is the wrong angle. A search on this EuroFlo outfit shows they're not highly regarded across car forums.

 

Anybody come across this before?

Euroflo arent a patch on a decent timax or wlaker system - i should know as i sell all three brands!
