Id of thought that most motor factors would sell them a lot cheaper than dealers?.

I went to a Peugeot dealer for a couple of parts the other day and I laughed to myself because id been wire brushing and painting underneath my 205 and as I walked in the salesman got up from his desk all excited hoping to sell some of their modern rubbish, he then took one look at me and said ‘parts desk is over there’ and sat back down

At the parts desk though the fella was very helpful and intrigued because I was buying 205 parts and a couple of the mechanics came over to ask about it. It seems peeps still love the 205 :)

Miles

Just get a filter for any Petrol XU engine, Like 306 XSI, GTi6 etc, they will be long life ones but work fine and only a few quid

Definetly the right filter - 1109AP, the old number was 1109N3 if i recall. Alot of dealers still have the old one since not many service xu engines these days.
