Sensors On The Head, Block, Sump And Box

Evening all

 

engines going off tomorrow or day after. making a list of the sensors and part numbers so i can try and find replacements: ive got all the numbers written on the side for some, and nothing for others, could do with part numbers and part identification please?

 

Rear of engine

 

Coolant Temp sensor: has several numbers on it, they are

983 [050]

0280 130026 - part number is the 130026?

 

Short Brown sensor body on thermostat housing - what is it??

1821 9D written on sides

 

Long brown sensor body (next to the above) - what is it??

D9 110 14 X125 written on sides of the screw sides of the sensor body

 

Front of Engine

 

Mushroom shaped sensor - what is it?

3270(or8)36

E9

8 Bar 12V

also has jaeger written on it

 

Small sensor next to mushroom sensor - what is it?

mine has white ring around it, and TRW written on it's top

Gearbox

 

sensor on the higher side of the gearbox - reverse sensor?

badly deteriorated on outside - need numbers for it!

 

Sump what is it?

Sensors in front of the block are Oil warning light sensor(the small) and Oil pressure transmitter (mushroom shape)

 

Sump sensor is Oil temp for dashboard

 

Gearbox- reverse light switch

 

The two on the coolant housing are also for watertemp i the dash, although I dont know why there are two of them.. The blue one is for ECU

I will warn you now that some of these sensors can be quite expensive, I certainly would not just replace them all for the sake of it. There is probably over £150 worth you have listed above.

 

The two single blade connector type on the thermostat housing are for the dash; 1 of them is a sender for the water temp gauge, the other is a switch which will turn on the high coolant temp light and I think also the "STOP" light if you overheat.
