BAz had a set for sale iirc, £300 smackers ish from memory. no tyres though.

Now just wondering whether its worth it to buy the car then sell it on again

I'd be thinking of £100 a wheel with tyre in good condition as they are not common and quite desirable, but obviously less if they need a refurbish. There are two types too. The "works" spec ones which take the 1.9 GTI Speedline centre with the lion on that sits flush and the 60 degree taper bolt fittings and the later ones where the centre is a speedline marked one that sits proud and will take flat faced bolts. I think 307 wheel centres may fit the later ones as the hole is smaller

Iv had the remake ones and have got works one now and both had the flat and taper type bolt holes.
