Gti Subframe On Xs

Recommended Posts

johnnyboy666

Im contemplating fitting a gti subframe on my xs to aid the fitting of the be4 gearbox, and was wondering what will be required to do so.

The main question is do I need to use droplinks or can it be run without untill I change the shocks?

other than that Im guessing i just need subframe and wishbones and away I go?

cheers

john

You can run without droplinks, it will just make the car quite roly-poly.

I ran mine without arb before i changed the dampers, i had mine tied up out the way but you need to make sure its safe, As you dont want it digging into the tarmac at on the motorway!

What about 306 gti6 dampers, as i have a set of them, although theyve got a a ball joint bit rather than the bit like the 205 gti ones have, can they be made to fit?
