Gti 6 Level Sensor Blank/plug?

As above is there a blank or plug as mine is leaking abit, cant see one on servive box only for the oil pressure warning switch.

I was going to use a small bolt with a new copper washer to seal mine, i might keep the sensor pipe to convert a new reading dial for this one day.

Off hand i dont either but you could take it to a local bolt/engineering shop and they should find one suitable. Or fit a new copper washer and cut of the wire.

TBH i'm not 100% sure as I found it in my box of bits.

 

I will check for you later today and let you know.

 

Its either a GTI6 one or a 1.6/1.9 item......or an XR2 one

Sounds a good a logical idea, as in Peugeot are known for cost cutting so i doubt they would have another sized thread hole. Im going to try and see if the gearbox one would work as i have a spare one. Will report back if it does.
