Found these wanted to fit them to my compomotives. Are they any good and most importantly are they road legal?

They will be used on a daily basis

That's very cheap.

I've just been out to the shed and double checked mine, and they are E-marked and thus I believe road legal.

However, I would strongly suggest against them for a daily-driven road car. Firstly, they're less grippy than normal road tyres until you get some heat into them, which you'll struggle to do on the road, secondly, they're not really suitable for use when there's any standing water around (and rain means that you'll struggle even more to get heat into them) and thirdly, the sidewalls are so stiff that ride comfort is dreadful.

Also, I suspect they wouldn't last long at all on the road - I know that it's not conclusive, but the thread wear rating on them is just 20(!) compared to 360 for a set of Falken ZX-912's...

So they'r basically gunna be worse than my 165 70 13 runway budget ditch-finders on a day to day basis.

I just wanted some cheap decent tyres as I'm soo worried about the current tires I havn't driven the old girl har for ages :(

I have no experience of them but as Anthony and Baz said above I wouldn't use a semi slick tyre on a daily basis.

A friend of mine has some semi slicks in his Evo and when it rains he has to watch out for standing water, the car becomes nervous to say the least.

Besides the fact they need heat to make them work they will be very noisy.

In the past I remember people have mentioned T1R's can be had for £30 or so, so for £15 extra per corner I would fit a road tyre for a daily driver.

Bear in mind those tyres are an ALL weather tyre, used as a control tyre in both dry and wet weather.

In my opinion not a very durable tyre in the compounds ive used, but work alright.
