im looking for anybody that can help me that has or knows anybody with a yamaha r6. Im need to know the length of the rear shock from eye to eye. Can anybody help

06-07 models are around 295mm, the earlier 99-02 models are around 305mm. Just check the ohlins site for replacement shocks and get the details. What you looking to do with it?

well i have been speaking to a machine shop who can spin the out of my torsion bar. Im gonna make up some brass bearings to take up the free play, and replace the shocks with motorbike items. I saw an r6 the otherday at work and got a quick questimation of the shock bing about a foot which is about the ideal length ...... ill get some photos of my progress up asap
