I want more power from my trust little peggy sue. and i feel like the 1.6 Screamer just aint doing it for me anymore although it has only 61k on the clock im all up for an engine swap. So my question basically is anyone know of a decent place in essex where i can take her and just have them do it? (im far to lazy now i have about 56232010 Hobbies) :D

I got your ebay message but I will post on here for further discussion,

From a cost effective engine installation the GTi6 has got to be the one, No hidden costs and performs very well with good management and power/torque delivery bar than the Mi which again needs allot of money thrown at it requires allot to be beaten.

The 8v turbo was designed as a get me by engine by Pug until the 16v engine's came along using a small turbo so not much lag but driving is like a turbo Diesel as it runs out of puff early on, Drive a Turbo Technic's conversion and it's like chalk and cheese.

Even with over 200bhp which I have done a couple they just don't cut it for me I'm afraid but we are all different at the end of the day.

Money for BHP as said the 6 engine is bar far the best, Then the Mi and even a 8v in good tune. The turbo engine needs allot more work to fit it properly
