Dlha Idle Jets Stuck

Yesterday I tried removing the idle jets on my twin dlha', the ones in the first carb came out no problem but then I tried the ones on the other carb, straight away I noticed they had been wound in loads further than the others. I just can't un-screw them, they are ridiculously tight. Can anyone recommend the best method of removing them?
