How rare are the 205 Dturbo model? Just i've never seen another on the road apart from mine and they don't even come up on the how manys left website.

People say the STDT are rare but I know of atleast 3 near by me

I bought an SMR wheel off a lad nearby me in Northumberland. He's made it look like a GTI with Morrette's and all the GTI trimings.

Cheers

I had one in green with the full brown leather and matching seat belts. Nice :) Was a wicked little pug and fast too.

I was under the impression that the STDT and the Dturbo were the same thing! Now i know better! I have to say i have never seen one badged as a Dturbo, but a fair few STDTs about.

Actually I saw a 5dr 205 with GTI trim fitted and a Dturbo badge off a 306 badly stuck on the boot in chichester. The trim looked like it was fitted standard, didnt look bodge atall

Standard the Dt is crap IMO but when I gave it a light stage 1 by turning 2 screws it transformed the car

Mine goes like sh*t of a shovel and is a standard stdt .Its abit harder than turning 2 screws on the lucas pump and if you start winding the boost up without a decent or any cooler your asking for trouble hence why theres loads of done up 306s about with HG faults

I think youll be lucky to see 150 mate .And if you were it`d be so laggy wouldnt be worth it .Im sure there something stupid like 80 bhp standard .There a good old lump but the technolgy or the fuel pressure isnt there to see that sort of power.Alot of modern deisels arent getting much more than that.

Btw mate im not knocking you if you can get that sort of power out of it hats off to you mate and good luck might be worth looking at nitrous and water injection kits for them by the derve doctor. And im pretty sure the 1.9 is more of a stouter engine so couldd cope better than the old 1800 im pretty sure some of them come with some forged bits as standard (dont hold me to it though)

Its more torque than bhp mate im sure youll get loads with these little tractors

You'll be surprised, My old 306 made 143bhp all stock parts. It was more like 130 due to the power peak.

There's loads of 306's running T25's pushing well over 180bhp My link

I do hope the the 1.8 is as good, can't see why it wouldn't be

The XUD is a very under-estermated lump.
