Applying Pts Stripe Grill Decal

I've been asked this several times and have finally got round to creating a little guide of 'How to Apply a Grill Decal'.

 

First up, after several versions, some in 3 separate parts, I decided putting the sticker on as a whole enables you to line the decal up perfectly.

 

Step 1. You will need a sponge, water spray, sharp knife/scissors, squeegee (credit card with a cloth wrapped round also works) and a straight adge.

 

Step 2. Clean the area, removing any dirt or grime.

 

Step 3. Spray water onto the area.

 

Step 4. Apply the decal to the grill, starting with the top right corner. Peel away the backing paper and smooth out with the squeegee.

 

 

Step 5. Slice/cut the decal about 5mm under each bar.

 

Step 6. Fold the decal over and under each bar, smoothing out with the squeegee

 

 

All done!

Could people post picks of their 205's with the sticker fitted? That way we can see what the different colours look like with the sticker on.

whats the corect gap between he blue and the edge of the grill
