You can get new captive nuts that just slot in from pug. With a big of a wriggle with a screwdriver you might be able to click it back in.

Which one? The rear ones are easily accessible if you lift the carpet up in the front footwells, the front ones inside the chassis legs are a bit more fiddly but can be removed (providing that the bolt came out OK) and replaced. The rear ones in particular have a habit of moving just enough that a bolt won't go through.

The trick is to get all the subframe bolts in a few turns before tightening any of them up.

Yeah its one of the rear jobbies, the bolt goes straight though. I tried poking about with a small phillips but it must be well out of place will have a go at lifting the carpet tommorow. Thanks

Iv had a good look at my non sunroof ones and they look brand new, so i think its mostly down to the sunroofs letting water in and rusting the back ones. I have drilled a little hole in the front sub-frame mounting points above where the bolt threads would be and sprayed freeze/de rusting normfest spray. When i come to take mine out in the next week im hoping they come out ok.

Anthony do you mean do them all up finger tight then use the torque wrench, do the bolts need to be torque in any particular sequence ?
