Rear Beam Grease Recommendations?

Hello all,

 

As part of my 205 gti rebuild, i am rebuilding the rear beam.

 

Could anyone recommend a grease to use for the inner bearings on the rear beam???.

 

I gather it would be some sort of white grease?

I use Lithium EP2 but each to their own.

I would not use anything less. However i do have 4 grease nipples as high in the beam as they can be, 2 between the inside of the two bearings.

Normal Moly / LM grease is fine for the job in my experience, and beams built with it have been in good nick a few years later when taken apart.

As Anthony says any normal EP grease, preferably fortified with moly.
