Pug And Classic Convoy

As I was leaving for work this morning, I was waiting to pull out onto the roundabout which leads into the docks (I live just off the docks) when two 205 GTIs rumbled by, followed by a seeming endless stream of both standard and modded 106s and 306s! Pair of 205s were leading the convoy - one was black and yellow and obviously modified, the other more standard.

Although I was waiting for a long time at that roundabout, it gave me a good feeling for the day, especially seeing the 205s in pride of place! Once I finally managed to pull out, they were still coming on the opposite carriageway towards the docks - there was even a very nice white XR2! Does anyone know of an event that's going on across the water - looked like a good turnout?

Was at 7am Friday mate, must have been some form of weekender then if more were going through on Saturday when you saw them. Were they modified cars that you saw? Most of those I saw were - maybe it was an event for modified motors.
