Standard Headlight Manufacturers

Which manufacturer made the headlights for a phase1.5 car? (I tthink that is what mine is, 1989)

I have a something Marchall? on one side, which I presume to be glass, and a plastic Lucas one on the other.

The glass one is obviously older, but wondered if that was the OEM one also. Doesn't make the world of difference, but is noticeable when looking at them and I want to get the correct matching set if I can.

I know for a fact my Fog lights are aftermarket, as they are halogen and marginally bigger than in pictures of others I have seen. They are rot free, so I can live with those!

Valeo are quite difficult to get hold of actually.. but they pop up on eBay every now & then, I bought a new set not too long ago. ^_^

One thing I will say though, is if you can get Valeo, get Valeo. I bought a Valeo and some other make off eBay for my black 205 and found the glass in the "other" was noticeably different - reflector pattern and colour were clearly different to the Valeo one; also the plastic socket for the headlight adjuster shattered when I tried to pop it on, I wasn't being hammer-fisted or anything either.

If you can't get Valeo, at least make sure the two you get are the same make as each other. They may both look weird and / or break when fitting but hey, at least they'll match!
