Arch To Bumper 'lug'

Recommended Posts

chipstick

One of my front wing arches has come away where it folds over and meets the top of the front bumper. From pulling it out I can see there is a lug of plastic, then goes into a hole so it is lined up properly.

What fixing holds that lug in? I'm expecting something that grips it and stops it lifting out.

I can't find trim clips on servicebox, and don't want to buy a whole kit on Ebay if its a readily available Peugeot spare.

I don't know if you can get them individually but there should be a washer with spikes on the inside which holds onto the lug.

If you can't find anything just put a small cable tie around the lug, works ideal as a temp solution as the arches tend to bend away from the body at speed without being fixed.

I think these little spring washers are the same as the ones found inside the car holding the sound deadening in place in certain areas.. you can always nick one of those and donate it to hold the arch trim on.

Good idea

I think I know of the type of washer. I will get hold of some from somewhere.
