Whats It Worth

Johns is the oldest chassis number I am aware of and is on the PSOOC/PSC register that used to be active online. I'm happy if anyone wants to PM me a chassis number to see if it is older (for a 1.9).

Gavbrum if you want to send me your chassis number I will see if it is later than a PSOOC members very late 29k miles 1.9. If it has not got red chequered door cards and grey carpet it is not one of the last (phase 2.5)

Think mine might be the youngest. 93 L Reg.

There's a handful of 1994 M-reg GTi's out there, although how long they were sat around before being registered I don't know.

What's the VIN number, or at least the last six digits? PM me if you'd rather not reveal it publicly, and I can tell you what my car's is - see Henry Yorke's earlier post. Mine was registered 12.01.87, but the VIN number is the definitive guide to the sequence of build. V interesting that it's Winchester Grey. Is that the colour of the non-GTI in the pic several posts back?

Thanks again for that little piece of dashboard plastic you sent me a year or so ago, by the way!

John
